About Us

Kozel Glass Art Designs Studio

Kozel Glass Art Designs is located in Pueblo West Colorado. It was founded by glass artist Mary Ann Kozel.

Mary Ann creates imaginative, original and custom works of art. Mary Ann is assisted in her studio by her husband, Ray Kozel.

At Kozel Glass Art Designs Studio we have a variety of traditional and modern glass working techniques that are combined to create unique pieces of art.

New and exciting additions and techniques

We are pleased to announce that Doc Holiway has joined our staff to add metal art to our studio. With this addition, we have the capability to truly create even more original and  custom scuptures for our clientele.

Some of our techniques:

Traditional Lead Came - used for larger and geometrical pieces. In this very old method, 2 pieces of glass are inserted into either side of H shaped lead. The cormers of the lead are then soldered together.

Copper Foil or Tiffany Method - Invented by Louis Comfort Tiffany to build his famous lamps. Strips of copper foil are applied to the edges of the glass and then the copper is soldered together.

Glass Fusion - this process includes molding and melting together pieces of glass in a kiln at temperatures that range up to 1700 degrees F.

Kozel Glass Art Designs Studio is dedicated to exceeding our clients expectations. It is our goal to give our clients  something they will treasure for a lifetime. From our original designs to our custom pieces, Kozel Glass Art Designs is committed to excellence.
